New Zealand Certificate in Commercial Hairdressing (Level 4) is available now!

We are thrilled to be celebrating the launch of our new hairdressing apprenticeship programme, the New Zealand Certificate in Commercial Hairdressing (Level 4). 

Created with input from New Zealand’s hairdressing industry across the country, the new programme is designed to provide apprentices with hands-on salon experience that will help them develop the skills, confidence and industry connections that are required to be successful, professional hairstylists.

We must acknowledge our programme partners, Pivot Point International and Industry Collective, who have worked with us over the past few years to bring this new programme to life. We also want to say thank you to the industry, who have provided us with valuable feedback, which we have used to ensure the programme meets the needs of our creative and colourful industry.

Apprentices and trainers in the new programme have access to Pivot Point LAB, an interactive online platform with a wide range of training resources. Apprentices also attend a series of professional development workshops with Industry Collective to help inspire creativity and motivate them to engage and connect with our amazing industry.

We will soon be launching our new Train the Trainer programme, designed to support workplace trainers in their role by giving them access to workshops, resources, and professional development opportunities.

The New Zealand Certificate in Commercial Hairdressing (Level 4) is currently available for apprentices enrolling in to year one.
