HITO apprentices have free access to Vitae, a completely confidential, 24/7 counselling service.

Your wellbeing is important. Wherever you are in New Zealand, we can offer learners access to free counselling whenever you need it.

What is Vitae?

Vitae is a free and completely confidential counselling service for work-based learners, that is available 24/7. Appointments with a counsellor can be conducted over video (Zoom or Facetime) or over the phone.

Vitae offers learners a choice of counsellor and a 24/7 contact centre with a duty counsellor for emergencies.

Vitae’s focus is on enabling speedy access to psychological services that help to resolve issues and maintain a safe, healthy and productive work environment.
