HITO is calling for expressions of interest for our new Industry Advisory Panel.

Our previous Hairdressing Advisory Group and Beauty Therapy Advisory Group members have recently completed their term.
The new panel will approve standards and qualifications for the Hairdressing, Barbering and Beauty Therapy sectors. The appointed panel will help ensure that our standards and qualifications are current, relevant and providing industry with work-ready graduates.
We are looking for members who are actively engaged with their industry sector. This could include, but is not limited to working in hairdressing, beauty therapy or barbering, participating in industry groups or associations and mentoring apprentices and trainees.
The panel will meet face-to-face every quarter with additional Skype meetings when required. Members will be paid for attending the meetings and will be reimbursed for travel.
Previous advisory group members are welcome to apply.
The HITO Board will appoint the panel members in accordance with the Constitution.
