HITO x NZFW

Hair was the hero at HITO’s runway show at New Zealand Fashion Week on September 2.

Ten HITO apprentices and graduates created hairstyles to complement new season black and white streetwear by leading designers. While the models showcased their work, they talked about their apprentice training experiences and career plans with MC Michael Beel, owner of Buoy Salon and Spa and veteran fashion week stylist in New Zealand, Australia, London and New York.

Approximately 400 people attended the show including secondary school students and careers advisors.

Congratulations to our apprentices and ambassadors for displaying incredible skill and enthusiasm for the industry!
