The review of the qualification is now commenced. We have the first meeting of the governance and advisory group on 29 August. In the meantime there is a little work that can be done. I am providing a couple of mechanisms to facilitate this.
The first is a reference document in draft form that I am hoping the range of stakeholders will populate. You will note on the document I don’t expect full concurrence rather it is important to document the various issues and various positions. This will assist us when we meet. So that we can all access it and also see the progress of the document I have put it on Google docs. This is a Google function to hold a document on the Internet and it can be updated concurrently by more than one party. You don’t need to save it, it will store all of your input. To support the above document it’s also important that we pose the right questions. I have started a list of questions and I’m happy for that list to be added to. I’m also happy for people to start to write answers next to the questions. Once again so that we can progress much of the review through peoples’ reflective time considering issues. We should then be able to assess which are the most critical issues and where there might be the most ground to traverse.
