Nail Technology
The National Certificate in Beauty Services (Nail Technology) highlights all the skills and knowledge required to work independently as a nail technician including heath and safety and customer service skills.
This qualification covers acrylic and other nail augmentation as well as manicure pedicure and nail art.
There are two opportunities for working technicians to gain this qualification:
- If you have proven and extensive time in the industry there is a process for recognizing and awarding credit for these skills through an interview and demonstration of skills process.
- If you are starting out in the industry or wish to expand your knowledge a traineeship can be arranged for you and your employer, this allows some funded additional training through correspondence and off site courses.
