• Change of Training Agreement

  This form is to be used to notify HITO of any change to your situation e.g. If you decide to change employer/salon or if you leave your job. Please help to keep HITO up to date.

• QbyE Nail Technology Training Agreement

  The Qualification by Experience (QbyE) programme for Nail Technology allows people with industry experience to have their nail technology experience evaluated towards gaining a National Qualification with the support of HITO.

• Management training agreement

  This provides the skills and knowledge required for management or training in the hairdressing industry. It also gives hairdressers the opportunity to specialise in areas such as Workplace Assessment, Tutoring or Salon Management

• Nail Technology Training Agreement

  This qualification is awarded to people who have demonstrated the skills and knowledge needed to perform a range of beauty services at a professional level within a commercial environment.

  It will take 13 months to complete this qualification.

• Salon Support Training Agreement

  This is an introductory qualification and it will enable you to provide basic hairdressing services under the supervision of a senior stylist. You will also learn about customer service, product sales and reception.

• Barbering Apprenticeship Training Agreement

  During your apprenticeship. this programme will teach you how to cut hair using barbering techniques, wet shave and cut facial hair, and also how to find out what a customer wants and decide how to achieve this.

  During your hairdressing apprenticeship, you will develop the knowledge and skills  to practice hairdressing. When qualified, you will be able to run an efficient column in a professional hairdressing salon.
