HITO Beauty Moderator (contract)

As the standard setting body for Barbering Beauty and hairdressing, HITO is looking for a moderator to join the team on a fixed term contract to carry out on site moderation of Beauty Therapy Training Providers.

The contract will be set for 20 days moderation and some additional time for administration.  The successful applicant will have:

• A recognised qualification/ or unit standard in Moderation.


• A solid understanding of unit Standard competency based assessment.


• A recognised qualification in Beauty Therapy equal to or in advance of the National Certificate’s in Beauty Services at level 5.


• An understanding of quality assurance systems of training providers.


• An understanding of delivery and assessment of beauty therapy.
