HITO Annual General Meetings
HITO holds their Annual General Meeting (AGM) in March every year.

This year, the AGM will take place on Monday 22 March 2010 at the Majestic Centre, Level 28, 100 Willis Street, Wellington.

Board Nominations
HITO is calling for nominations for the HITO Board for 2 positions. Nominations must be submitted in to HITO CEO, Erica Cumming by Monday 25 January 2010. Regional members will be required to elect from these nominations at the AGM. All nominees are invited to supply a standard form to support their application of no more than 100 words. This is available at the bottom of this page.

Remits
HITO is also calling for all remits to be received in writing from our Regional members no later than Monday 25 January 2010. Remits will only be accepted on a standard form that is available at the bottom of this page.

Items for discussion
Regional members are also asked to please submit other items for discussion and general business in writing to Erica Cumming by Monday 25 January 2010. Remember to include the name and address of your delegate who will be the RAC Chairperson. 

RAC Nominations
As local Association AGMs are due to take place over the next few months, please ensure that nominations have been sought for your Regional Apprenticeship Committee (RAC) and discussed at the meeting. Once nominations have been recommended at your Association, please forward to HITO CEO for appointment. Note it will be the RAC’s responsibility to elect a Chairperson who is required to attend the HITO AGM as the delegate. Please liaise with your Regional HITO Sales & Liaison Manager during this process. The RAC’s role is critical to the industry and HITO to gather information about the current and future skill needs in their region

RAC Reports
Regional Apprenticeship Committees are requested to submit a report for the AGM. You will be required to submit your typed report to HITO no later than Friday 12 February 2010. Reports will only be accepted on a standard format that is available from the link below. You will be invited to present this report at the meeting.
