The Jasmine McBeth Memorial Scholarship

To remember and recognise Jasmine's passion, motivation and dedication to the industry, HITO has set up the Jasmine McBeth Memorial Scholarship. 

 

At only 18, Jasmine had achieved so much with her sheer perseverance hence the HIT along with Jasmine's parents (Denise and Murray) would like to help someone who has had a similar desire to succeed in life.

 

The scholarship will be offered annually and has a value of $3000 to be used by the recipient within a 5 year period for training and further development within the hairdressing industry. Any HITO apprentice from anywhere in New Zealand can apply.

CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS

3 OCTOBER 2008

Consideration will be given to applicants who can demonstrate:

  • The passion, motivation and dedication to succeed in their apprenticeship and hairdressing career

  • Involvement in the hairdessing industry and community.
