APPRENTICE OF THE YEAR AWARDS 2008

The quality of all applicants has continued remain at a very high level. Year after year it is clear that the standard of apprentices in the industry gets higher and higher.

HITO is proud to announce that the regional winners for 2008 are:

• Northern Winner : Katherine Minty  (Headline Hairstylists in Whangarei)
• Auckland Winner : Ardita Rakovica  (Bettjemans in Orakei Auckland)
• Midland Winner : Haley Barraclough  (Ahead of Time in Tauranga)
• Mid-Central Winner : Nikita Barter  (Spectra in Palmerston North)
• Central Winner : Dorien Van Der Berg  (Reds Hairdressing in Pukerua Bay)
• Northern South Winner : Krystal Ward  (Hair on Brighton in Christchurch)
• Southern South Winner : Amber Parkinson (Total Image in Invercargill)

All winners of the regional awards will be provided with a free ticket to attend the 40th Celebrations Saturday night formal dinner function where the National winner will be announced - good luck to you all and well done!

Well done and congratulations to those who were nominated too. It was an achievement in itself to be nominated for this award and you should be proud that your achievements have been recognised in this way. Hairdressing needs you.
